Sam gave Leah a partially apologetic look and begrudgingly followed Dean out. As they reached the car Sam could no longer keep quiet. He now questioned Dean's decision with a vehement underlying tone.
"What the hell was that about? You have something against helping people just to be helpful? Besides, it might be our kind of case - there was no way of knowing from what she said. I wasn't exactly planning on just walking into the mine without giving it some serious thought. And you'd seemed somewhat interested too, what's with the sudden turnaround? And last time I knew I was an adult and could make my own decisions."
Sam was angry and didn't exactly understand what Dean's problem was right now. On top of that he hated being treated as a child. And lately Dean had been guilty of that on numerous occasions. He knew Dean was worried about him, hell he was worried about himself. But, treating him as a child who needs permission to do things was going too far in the concern department.
